I've had every combo.  Except under seat as theres no room for a sub there.

My favourite so far is the UD sub for 3 reasons, in order of priority.
1. It takes up no real space in the car.
2. It works with the roof down and its the only sub that does.
3. It keeps the weight up front where you want it, not behind your head where in a smash its likely to kill you.

2nd best was small passive sub in read inbetween seats
3rd best was the small active low profile sub in the rear bin.  Not bad but not much umph.

I  must admit I've not done the 12" mashoooosive sub in the rear, I'm too old for that.

i went to a gigg the other week and basically a guy had a sound system, given it was probably expensive, but the sound was so crisp. crisp and sharp are the words, the bass i could feel in my chest and voice when i spoke but the treble was crystal clear nearly. I hate so many people that have bass that drowns everything out and no point having treble, or treble that is very crisp and no oomph as you say.

Want my car stereo to make music sound like it should.

You need to talk REALLY nicely to NathanMR2, although he did say he was taking a break from them.

To be honest, i asked Nathan a little while ago, and I dont think he wants to make anymore, at least not for a while!

Keep your eyes peeled, as you might find one FS on here.
