Golf door speakers?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has used speakers from a golf GTI? They sound amazing just wondering if its possible

They sound that good because of the size of the enclosure they are on.. you should hear the harmen Karden system in my 5 series its epic! But thats because half of the door morenor less beneath the door card is one huge speaker box. I put my standard mr2 speakers into a honda civic a few years back and they sounded ten times better than when they were in the mr2

Ahh I see so it's not the speakers themselfs it's the enclosure so to speak? Do you know of any speakers of that sort of quality that's not based on an enclosure?

Your never going to get amazing results in an mr2 because of that huge bit missing above your head haha. The sound doesnt travel through the car like it would in a saloon car for example.

No speakers you can buy really are going to perform to their best without a suitable enclosure to match. I will take some pics of my door set up for you later and post them on here. I basically had to build the up the standard enclosure in the door.  Works alot better than stock but still wont be as good as it can be
