Seat covers

Anyone had experience fitting a passenger side base OEM seat cover onto the drivers side?

Do you just need to make a hole for the knob  s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

Strangely enough a friend of mine has an old ef shape civic that hes trying to restore to factory condition.  The drivers seat was very worn and the material its covered in went out of production in the 90's. He managed to find a passenger seat in mint condition so he removed the cover from the base itself and had a local trimming place duplicate the cover on hos driver seat using the material from the passenger seat he got. You literally cant tell.. its a fantastic job indeed they have done.  Didnt cost too much neither
