Sepentine belts

I'm after one that measures 1845mm. Halfords don't stock them that large and It's not a part that Toyota Sell.

Does anyone know of an outlet preferably online that may sell these?

Failing that, try BSL. They are industrial parts people, I use them occasionaly for motor/gearbox drivebelts, and I know they sell poly v belts like the one you want by length and width, rather than make and model that you'll get in most places.

There used to be one nextdoor to me at work, but they moved to Stratford...

I'd already tried S C Motor Factors Ltd and as you say they only go by make and model. Out of interest they looked up 2ZZ-GE and it comes up with 1980mm s:? :? s:? .

I have ordered one from Toyota as a back up although I think it will be wrong. They sell one size A/C or not due to an extra Idler pulley and they charge £75 compared to Halfords £8 s:shock: :shock: s:shock:

BSL unforunately can't supply one. They do make fan belts but not alternator drive belts to the correct width that Toyotas use s:(

In my usual fashion I have solved my problem with possibly unorthodox means.

I bought the biggest belt that halfords sell 1810mm, remember i needed one that was 1845mm

I then strapped one end to the back of my Land Rover and the other end to my mechanics Fiesta. He sat in his car with his foot on the brake while i used the full might of the 2.5 diesel.

You'll never guess what it only stretched enough to lever on to the pulleys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, one step closer to getting the GT300 to JAE.
