I dont know if anyone else has seen this, but I do like the styling. Not sure about the name though, "Priapus" sounds like some sort of Australian marsupial.

I think the article's author should try drinking Banks's though ... "absent of planned functional obsolescences" righto, never drove a MR2 then!   s:lol:  s:lol:

Ain't that the new supra that they were going to release when they finally won an f1 season... or perhaps that was another rumour.

And as for a name, I'm sure some focus group will butcher that, and perhaps more too.

I liked the look of this when it was first thrust in the public eye; see:

Priapus is a REALLY bad name. Its the shorter version of a medical condition word "Priapism".....which, as some of you may or may not know, is that all too common condition of permanent erection!!!!   s:shock:  s:shock:    s:oops:  s:oops:

Bad name, really, really bad name................. and a not particularly pleasant illness either.

I must admit I got quite excited when I saw the pictures of the car.... not that excited though   s:roll:  s:roll:

Seriously though, trying to keep rigidly on topic, (rigidly?   s:oops:  s:oops:  ) This car looks like it will be out of most MR2 owners price range. I hope the rumored Celica / MR2 replacement looks as stunning.

Not an F1 season - just their first F1 victory

It's been toned down a bit since the initial press 'leaks' - it was supposed to have been a mid-mounted V10

Being curious as to the real meaning I googled the word   s:oops:  s:oops:

http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/Priapus.html gives a very good answer. The link contains classical pictures and Greek mythological icons that some may consider non work safe.

Were you questioning my knowledge Victor?  s:wink:  s:wink:    s:lol:  s:lol:

No, I did know that it was from the God Priapus, hence Priapism is what it is. You can see the link........

Right, back on topic now!!!!
