You can use the surround from the fisher price unit then buy side fillers, All of which can be bought on eBay pretty cheap.
Another one won't hurt  .....

best thing to get a preface surround and use the stock side fixing brackets as it looks oem but with your new unit

I have that unit in my car, just use the side mounting brackets, fits perfectly
2001 low mileage, mods: K&N 57i gen 2, toyosports manifold and Cobra twin exhaust, unichip. Colour coded side vents and spoiler.  not forgetting the ICE Install, stock sony head unit, sony xa300 aux input, bluetooth connection, 4 channel hertz digital amp, 2 channel hertz ep2 amp, mb quart components, hertz 10" subwoofer in the bins and UD JL 6.5 in sub. Boom!

How different are the pfl surrounds compared to the fl? I'm having the problem that my fl surround Is too big around my head unit (gaps at the sides)

Looks better and the hole  a double din size, so no messy hole filling bits

I currently have a double din surround. Did this change at face lift?

facelift surround not a double din in size if memory serves. However if you place your stock surround against the unit and try it out

sorry to revive an old post but in a rush, can i use a prefacelift surround and the mounting brackets of a prefacelift on a facelift car?
i sold my standard double din, have single din, now want double din but prefer the surround on the prefacelift
