Went down the well documented front replacement speaker set-up
using Edge 6" Component Speakers and flashing tape for the doors
from Screwfix.£10

Using Amazon to buy the edge speakers and then applying for the Amazon credit card knocked the already good price
down to £22 delivererd.

Then using Gumtree i picked up a sony 200w active sub for £20.

this is a great 10" sub with its own amp.

stripped it down

cut it up

made a cardboard box up to get a rough size to fit in the space behind the drivers seat

put all back together and fitted

Fits in the storage space neatly and using the straps ties down very securely

so for for £52 i have a cracking good sound system

Nice mate looks awesome and a bargain i must say!! Is the sound quality any good with the bin doors up? Id have thought it may rattle and be slightly muffled?

sound is great and no rattles..
most subs can go anywhere as the low frequency's travel
well through most materials.
So not much difference with the door open or shut
