After thinking I'd remember. I've forgotten. But already refitted the pump and would rather not remove it again just to look.

Basically I want to run 12v to the pump by the connector on the top of the tank. But not sure which pins are ground and +12v.....  Just need the pump running to set the fuel pressure.

Are you using the 1zz ecu still. If so the as soon as you turn on the ignition the fuel pump gets a live wire.

Also by grounding the green with red stripe wire to earth from the ecu with ignition on will fire the pump.

but to answer your question you are after the black with red stripe is live and the white with black stripe is earth

Thanks richard, yeah i was expecting it to fire, but it didnt, i may not have the ecu plugged in, or it could be ....... because car...
I tried bridging the fuel pump relay too, which didnt work either, so thought i'd just take the easy route and hard wire it.

Just been in the garage and done it, fired up a treat so pumps okay, noisy little bugger though, set pressure to 3bar, then disconnected gauge and crimped it onto the fuel rail..  one more job to cross off the to-do list.  only 3 left before MOT time

With reference to this, is it just the ECU pin-out for the fuel pump? or does this have any other implications/uses?

I'm thinking of just grounding it permanently to run the pump on ignition as mine still doesnt prime other than after cranking.

I shorted it out today temporarily and the pump kicks in, and the car starts easier..  Would having this grounded permanently cause any side effects?

I'll check it for you later but from memory no its only the pump it goes to. But if you do make sure the ign relay still clicks off.
