My speedo kph to mph

Can anyone clue me up on my speedo? I don't know how many miles my car has done, I have the jap version, my speedo has a sticker over where it says kph but would that mean I have been converted to mph? If so would that mean the milage is in kilometers or miles? What have yours got?

It will be a mixture. Whatever it had on it when it was imported will be km but when it was converted to record miles it will start registering miles
