I know that UK now gets TRC and/or VSC on the SMT MR-S. It comes standard in France with SMT too.

Is there any way to disable the VSC (on french models, there is a switch for the TRC but none for the VSC). I guess there is a fuse or someting, somewhere... it's just not documented in the french user manual  s:cry:  s:cry:

PLEASE HELP  s:wink:  s:wink:

Simple answer - NO

You can pull the fuse for the ABS controller - that will have the effect you are looking for as the VSC uses the ABS pump to pull the brakes on to correct the slide.

Downside to this is you will loose EBD & ABS - not good  s:( :( s:(

I might try that anyway. do you have a fuse map (they don't provide it in France in the user manual  s:cry:  s:cry:  )?
For some reason I really think ABS & EBD are not needed in some conditions (on track for instance)...
On the other hand, switching off the VSC but keeping the ABS on would be the best solution for everyday fun but safe use  s:wink:  s:wink:

Quote from: "TEM on Spyderchat"You can disable it in Yaris T-Sport by cutting some wires, I think most install a switch in there to turn it on/off when they feel like it. You might wanna browse some Yaris forums for details as I don't remember any details.
It might be a direction to look at... I'll try that too!
