Hi, does anyone have / heard the toyota factory fitted sub woofer? They are only little things that go in the rear bin... Not after "serious bass" but just a bit more depth.. Wondering if they are worthwhile..

Thanks

You need an underdash sub then.
nathanmr2 has a couple of enclosures for sale.  :-) :-) :-)

I'm going to hazard a guess that's the one Grubber's spotted, I looked at it and though "sub and amp in that little box stuffed in the bins? I'll let somebody else find out"  s;) ;) s;)

Aiii that's the chap... My days of stereo having priority over storage are over but something that size I could live with!  My friend had one years ago in a triumph spitfire that was an under seat all in one unit and was ok (In fact suprisingly good) for it's size, but wether this is I'm not sure I want to be the test pilot either!

I think you maybe right. You will be much better off with one of Nathan's under dash subs

I'm guessing these will end up been quite costly though once you've bought the box, speaker and amp!? The toyota one on flea bay is the sort of money I'd be tempted to spend if it's any good... Not that any stereo sounds fantastic when topless!

I've had a similar set up and the bass was terrible! I would say if your looking to improve the sound and working to a budget uprated the front speakers and sound proof the doors. You will be surprised how good it will sound

That's good advice.. I'd probably get some better components and tweeters for the price of that sub...  Are they 6" in the doors?
