So recently I've noticed when I've had my high beams on while driving the blue high beam light on my gauage doesn't show.
Would changing my headlights from 2000 model to 2003+ headlights and rewiring them to use a relay to change the lights and low beam to always draw power cause this or do I have to look more at my gauage?

yep your wiring is what has done it. said it many times before but the stock preface wiring does not have two lives and one neutral to the bulbs. in fact it has one common live and two neutrals that it switches in the stalk. the light works off of the 2 neutral wires so on your wiring your very likely giving your blue light two neutral and not one live and neutral.

This can be resolved by pulling one of the pins from the relay so you switch between high and low beam rather than having both on at the same time. (Don't ask me which pin as I can remember)

or wire it up differently with the 5 pin relay, did work it out once
