Had some more warranty work done yesterday,

It all went well, apart from the CD player they'd ordered turned out to be smashed to bits, so they didn't replace it (its got the volume knob problem, but since ork kindly sorted me out a remote stick, it's alright really).  They wouldn't post me a new cd player because that would invalidate my warrenty apparently – so another trip to Guilford is in order at some point.

Secondly, my front right brake pad wasn't contacting the whole of the disc area (Thanks GT300 for noticing),  So they kindly replaced both front brakes and pads – result! The car now stops much faster I'm sure.

Lastly, and heres the good bit – they got rid of the drivers side front suspension mount clicking/knocking sound.  Replaced the whole thing – even swapped my lowering spring onto it.  Sound completely disappeared.  BUT, the car now feels loads and loads better, don't know how I didn't notice it before, but the car had felt nervous and jittery and I've been nervous to push it any, but now it feels solid and there's tons more grip.  Don't know what was wrong before but I'm glad its sorted – feels like a new car.

Now the bad bit, they've 'grazed' the paintwork above the left side repeater, I'll mention it when I phone them about my cd player, but I doubt I'll get any joy, I know every scrath on that car but Toyota don't have to believe that.  Fortunately I reckon it'll polish out, maybe a bit of T-cut should sort it.  It's a shame because apart from that and the cd player, they'd done a good job.

By the way I managed to lock my wheels in the courtesy yaris, fortunately doing about 10 miles an hour so didn't go anywhere – how sensitive are those non-abs brakes?

I'd mention it to them straight away, otherwise they will definately deny all knowledge...
