how did you fix it?  did you bend the hangers?

first i moved the drivers side one, so it was the same length as the other side (so they both stuck out about an inch, but that made teh drivers side drop about 2 inches lower), then put the car jack under it and jacked it up until they were perfect.

Once that was done, I put a jubilee-clip (spelling?) around the rubber of the drivers side mount, and it held it in place... bobs your uncle!

I used hose clamps to do exactly the same thing (what's a jubilee-clip?).
Did that over a month ago and they still look perfect.
Without the clamps I could get the tips even while I was playing with it, but they moved back as soon as as I drove the car.

(and apparently my steering wheel's on the wrong side, so the "driver" and "passenger" are labeled wrong)

It's what us strange Brits call a hose clamp  s;) ;) s;)  We like to be different, don'tchaknow?  s:) :) s:)

(OK, technically I think it's a specific type of hose clamp, but it's turned into a pretty generic term these days)
