2ZZ swap cost and garages to do it.

Apologies if I've missed something in my search of the forum, but I'm considering a 2ZZ swap. But I don't have the tools, garage, knowlege or time to do it myself.

So what I'd like to know what the ball park cost for someone else performing this would be (including engine and parts). And is there anyone in the UK who would do this? Doing it myself is just NOT an option.

It's come about because I was looking to upgrade but all he options have disappointed me in one way or another and the only thing I can find wrong with my 2 is the power.

There are competent companies out there but none that have completed this before.

I have the only known 2ZZ in the UK and it was converted by myself.

There are so many details to consider and remember when conducting this and I don't think a garage would put the effort in that you would be happy with.

Cost to do it yourself is only parts about £2000 total.  To get a garage to do it is in the region of £7000 (a figure I was quoted at an early stage).

Hmm, it's just frustrating that Toyota haven't done it themselves.  s:roll: :roll: s:roll:  The main problem is that I'm not a grease monkey. I've had my 2 for over 2 years now and it's given me nothing but joy. But now I know the handling thoroughly I need more power. Maybe I'll just have to upgrade to something else.  Which would be cause of not a little sadness cos the handling is just soooo sweet.
