Hi all, Been a proud owner of my first MR2 a week now and loving the handling and power! but the aerial has never worked for the radio. I manually pulled it out so I could have the radio on but i want to fix it ASAP.

I have tested the relay behind the seat lockers. Power goes in no problem but there is no power coming out so assume the relay itself is dead. i also bypassed the relay to test the motor in the aerial itself and it's dead too. (It's an aftermarket version not the original and I can see the previous owner tried to get it working without success).

So I ordered a "beesting" aerial off ebay after seeing them mentioned in other posts but it arrived with three screw thread options. None are big enough to fit into the current aerial socket. £3.45 wasted there!

replacement relays are expensive and hard to come by, and so are the aerials themselves so I am inclined to just fit a fixed, good looking one instead. preferably one that fits!

can anyone point me in the direction of where i can find a decent aerial that will fix, and also allow me to wire up to the antenna cable as the eBay one I got doesn't have any electric fittings at all.

thanks in advance!
