Hellooooo....
Thought I got this sensor thing sussed but it's confusing me even more now!
IL start from the beginning I think I may have put too much redex in a few months back engine light came on and I thought I'd make use of the RAC and had them come out to diagnose the outcome was P0135 bank 1 sensor 1 after cancelling the light and it coming back on I brought a new sensor fitted and was sorted.
Recently the engine light came back on I had the code read which was
P0171 system too lean bank 1
I had this cleared at the beginning of the week and it stayed off then today I changed the spark plugs, cleaned the maf sensor and reset the ecu.
I took it for a spirited drive after and my engine light reappeared this times codes

P0171 system too lean bank 1
P0174 system too lean bank 2

Has this happened to anyone ?

Thanks in advance.

Air intake all good? Vacuum hoses? Could be a faulty MAF causing both to show.

Jay tbh I'm not sure how or what to check on the air intake or vacuum hoses, had a look at the filter today and that doesn't seem too bad =/

Since the RAC man came out I've only been using shells v power petrol, could this have anything to do with it?

Didn't know RedEx was still around.
Bet it' s more than a penny a shot now!
Maybe too much of this jungle juice contaminated the maf, I would try cleaning that.

Sorry! having reread your post you've already done that.

Don't suppose there's anyone close to that could help determine this fault with me e.g air leak thinking of changing air and fuel filters? Getting my caliper looked at tmora morning as that's making my car sluggish from sticking so much then it's just this light I want sorting.
I could even meet someone if the distance is too much?

90 % of the time when those two codes come on together it a dead maf. The maf dont have error codes of its own.

I've already changed the maf mate after cleaning mine up

Was it a brand new Toyota/Denso MAF?

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

It was a genuine denso known good seconds off John Sloan, I've brought off him loads so trust what he sells.
I filled up with regular unleaded today as this started to happen really when I started using shells  v power petrol

Also it's just the P0171 code this time seems to keep fluctuating between just that one and both codes
