TTE duals...

Hi folks!

I'm sure you've all seen pictures of the TTE exhaust before, but I'm so happy with the results I thought I'd post some pics! It looks and sounds ace  s8) s8)  Although I was a little worried when I first drove off that it sounded more conservative than on the demo car I'd driven that had one fitted...

I got the exhaust from James (bigun007 - cheers boyo   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:  ) and it was fitted yesterday morning by my local Tyre and Exhaust place - they're very good and cheap - I've bought several sets of tyre's and a couple sets of alloys from them in the past.

It took them about 1 and 1/2 hours to fit and cost me £34; they replaced a cat to back box-bolt and didn't charge me for it either! It's a much better job than I could have made; let alone that it would take me all day to fit it!  s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

The guy who fitted it owns a Roadster too, so I had I good chat with him afterwards   s8) s8)  

I'm pretty pleased with the fit - the offside tip probably sticks out very slightly more and is very slightly lower than the nearside tip, but you have to look fairly hard to notice!   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:    s:lol: :lol: s:lol:

Thats a good fit,

You wouldn't beleive the troubles i'm still having after a dodgy mechanic fitted mine, 3 hours work and yes replaced my bolts - with the wrong things.

Any advice to share on the process?  I'm gonna have to attempt to refit my tte soon, and the lining up of the tips is the bit i'm dreading most...

Cutting the TTE tips into the bumpers will be a little more complex that with the H&S Liz. The TTE exit pipes are not adjuatable for length like the H&S ones;
