Any reason or reasons why it is made of aluminium/stainless steel ?

The original was made by a well known Japanese tuning firm out of aluminium and they claimed a modest power gain'
The markiii was made out of steel.
Some have fabricated similar using synthetic piping with a smooth interior.
Ex.MR2 SMT sadly missed.
Saab 9-5 Turbo, Hirsch stage 1, Sports suspension and anti roll bars, uprated disks, sports intake and filter and various other bits. 210bhp, 320Nm.
