MOD - Lets leave the theory of lift here before this degenerates into a trolling thread, point is Wiltord has shown another take on a spoiler install, any spoiler is going to have varying degrees of effectiveness so please leave it now

cheers buddy spent a long time building it, i have a bad case of moditus!! and trackitus,

i actually got the spoiler second hand from a member on the club but they dont come up very often you can buy them brand new from here,

My comment to the Mod is that I feel it is extremely important that forum members are not misled by wild claims about expertise in a topic which is not reflected in the accuracy of the comments. I have seen a very similar point made by MattPerformance about the topic of "oval bore syndrome".  We are all here to help each other and if misinformation is being pedalled we need to call it out

A step up from my sp240 then.
Hopefully will prove more reliable too.

It is known here that I'm not a fan of spoilers on 2s and this hasn't changed my mind.
As said above may look a bit more cohesive with a few more carbon fibre accents.
It's all good fun non the less.

Toyota sports does look good but interferes with the rear lights.
JDL is good too but apart from that not a fan.

Bernie, your car looks great! I was going to go with the TRD spoiler myself, but I'm a sucker for carbon fibre. If my idea hadn't worked, I'd gladly have drilled my original engine cover to the specs of the TRD spoiler, hence me sourcing a second-hand engine cover for the TTRS project.
How did you get your soft-top so neatly stowed & that low? Is it aftermarket?

Soft top is time patience and practice.
A warm day helps too. Something in the manual about not putting it down below 5 degrees centigrade

Hmmm... Even on a warm day my soft top doesn't go down that low. In fact, I've never seen any go down that low

Thanks for the positive feedback! I thought I'd try to bring the design a little more into the present day. I'm pretty pleased with the way the accents worked out.
You read my mind, windscreen surround is next on the list!
Hard top prices have shot up because of the weather, may have to wait until summer!   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:
