Hi guys,

I'm still getting a P0443 error (and p0135, p0141) on my 2zz. I have had this since doing my 2zz conversion about 2 years ago.

I can see the EFI2 fuse keeps blowing, every time I change the fuse it blows again. I have new Denzo sensors, I've changed the evep, tried unplugging the two O2 sensors and the evap but it still blows.

I know it may be a shorted wire somewhere but anybody had any luck isolating this issue before?

I followed the 2zz guide wiring the ECU etc, but wondering if the rewiring I did for this on the ECU pins may have been wrong or something, the ECU is UK spec but followed the wiring guide (the one on here and on spyderchat) keeping the immobiliser and alarm in.

The car has driven fine for 2 years so in one way i'm confident that it was wired correctly, and I've done many engine conversions over the years so i'm pretty clued up but with little room in the bay I don't want to take loads apart if someone has come across this before and can advise.... I need to sort this out now as it's doing my head in!!

Cheers.

Any ideas?

I will re-float this thread... as I´ve happened to run in the same problem.

After one month of ownership and no lights, the 7.5  Efi2 amp just blew and brought the same error codes. Evap and both O2 heating sensors.

basically the o2 heaters stop working and the EVAP valve too.

I´ve not replaced the fuse yet as Its blown for a reason...

I´ve been able to test the evap valve and works and isn´t shorted... not sure about its wiring... or maybe one of my o2 sensors (or its wirings) are shorted.

Its a long shot as I see you´ve not been active for over a year... but... did you manage to find the reason of your problem? Mines is a 2ZZ swap too, and had been running flawlesly for 2 years with the previous owner... and the last month with me.

If I happen to find my issue, I´ll update here for future refference!

So... I will answer myself.
Both exhaust mounts have failed, exhaust has fallen down and the 02 wire shorted itself to ground, causing the efi2 fuse to blow.
Apparently yesterday at 3 AM was too difficult to spot broken exhaust mounts but was a perfect time to follow wiring issues, test valves and find blown fuses.
Oh well. At least I have the answer now and is on its way to be sorted..
