This was discussed a while ago now, cos I said that I quite fancy a pair:

To date still don't think that any are available.

Let's put aside the 'Bling' image of altezza lights and consider how that huge rear lens would look if it was clear ?? - well i think it would look great, some car colours would obviously suit it better than others.

I don't have the photoshop skills to create a picture, maybe someone else duz ??

No worries re the search - hope you did not think that I was having a go..just that some of us are on here quite a bit  s:oops:  s:oops:   and can remember bits and pieces of conversations, think that we would have a few takers if this comes about.

Yes, posting a query like this on SC would necessitate the wearing of an asbestos suit. Why is that? It might have to do with the nature of clear tail lights being a kind of "chav" aesthetic - on the order of a gold-plated antenna or kerb-feelers.

Perhaps it's that the Spyder doesn't require visual statements to differentiate the vehicle from a mass of lookalikes on the road. Also, the tail lights are distinctive and part of the car's signature. Getting rid of them seems counterproductive in some way. I'd advise putting your money into more performance-oriented mods, like clear side markers!

Each to their own on Mods, Keith asked about some lights and some of us answered.

This isn't Spyderchat, and its not down to any of us to patronise and suggest other mods instead of something that you may not like the sound of.

Appreciate that its a forum and each to their own on opinions, but hardly a friendly welcome to a new member of the club is it???

I remember asking about these ages ago and being shot down in flames, I don't think anyone posted a positive reply.

Lexus lighs are fine as long as you buy an good well made set.  They have got a bad name mostly because you have a lot of badly designed tail-lamps on the market for the wrong cars.

I don't know of a company that makes an application for the "2".
