Well it had to happen. It was OK one of us coming out of junctions sideways on opposite lock but since Wendy has learnt to do it the tyre sdidn't have a chance. She's failed the MOT (that's the 2 not Wendy) on the 2 rear tyres with advisorys on the both fronts with only 15k on the clock.

Sorry to hear about your MOT failure  s:cry:  s:cry:

Two things you must do...

(i) new set of tyres (let me know what you get and how they perform, please)

(ii) stop Wendy from driving the 2  s:wink:  s:wink:

Toyo Proxes T1R's are on order and will be here tomorrow, I will let you know what they are like but I am expecting them to need scrubbing in well before performing properly having read numerous other threads on them.

"Scrubbing In"  I'll have to tell Kerrie that is what i'm doing next time she shouts at me for pretending i'm in D1

15000 on a set of rears? Lucky!
I've done just over 30000 and I've nearly killed my 3rd set of rears and just got my third set of fronts. However I'm sticking with the Yoko's as I like them. Might be soft, but lots of fun. I'm getting 15000 out of fronts and 10000ish out of the rears.

Ive had my Goodyear F1 for a year now (12000miles) and they still have 8mm tread on them!

23k on the fronts with 5mm on them and i had to change the rears at 21.5k due to a flat, but they still had 7mm on them, the joys of motorway driving  s:roll:  s:roll:
