water cooled audio?

Hi folks,

i'm just about to do a custom install with some Bazooka audio gear, a 500w monobloc feeding a 10"sub and  2, 2x50w amps for the front and rear speakers, but the amps and sub have the option for being water cooled!!

is this really necessary or just a gimmic??
