Head gasket

Hello any body had to replace a head gasket, just woundering are any
Special tools are needed. I have a torque wrench and other baisic hand tools
A timing belt isn't involved, have done a few on different cars over the years.
Do i need new head bolts or will the old one's be ok etc...any advice appreciated   s:D :D s:D

Head gasket problems are rare on the 1zz
Stretch bolts , so unless you feel lucky then yes , replace them.
There's a youtube video of someone doing the whole rebuild on a 1zz , although on a corolla.

While there you are only and extra hour from replacing the pistons/rings. another hour to do the valve oil seals.

As already said, a rare failure.

What are your symptoms?
