An other DRL question

Hi all, just received an DRL kit from a specialist car lighting firm and in one of the wires in the harness is ment to go to the battery positive terminal, obviously with the battery being in the back it makes this a bit tricky.
Are there any wires in the frunk area that are connected to the battery positive that I can use for this power source?

I hope they are  shiny lights Mike!
If your looking for a positive feed there is a fuse box in the frunk and also inside the car.
Have a look at your handbook to find a fuse that is on when ignition is on, at least two inside the car, I can find the numbers if your stuck.
Then purchase a "piggy back fuse".
I believe Halfords sell them if you are really desperate but at twice the price of eBay.

For some reason I can't get to my emails where I would find the actual supplier I used.
But you will see they are all very similar.
You will need a fuse if one is not with the piggy back.

And they do work, I have used them on my daily and my 2, to fit a interchangeable  dash cam and sat nav.

You can get a live from the top middle wire on the wiper motor - blue with white flecks.  It is live with the ignition, so DRL's come on when ignition is switched on.  They work a treat.

Since fitting my DRL's there has been a noticeable reduction in the number of idiots pulling out in front of me   s:D s:D  They Do work!!

Many thanks, I need to take a feed from the ignition as well so that should do the trick.
