Some chav has keyed my car all down the side, not through to the metal but deep enough to feel. I can't afford the excess, as its jan. im not too happy. any idea's? that langka stuff sounds like id make a mess. I hope they have a misrable life, and someone robs their bmx. I'd start a genocide on the chavs i swear, id round them all up, and dump them out to sea.

The langka stuff is good, worse case scenario and you're just back to where you were before,  I recommend you get one of the pens that was recommended on here, from america, and some langka and give it a go.

Just remember to remove all the wax and polish and stuff first and let it dry for a couple of days,  If that doesn't work then it's the wet and dry paper.  I've become somewhat of an expert about repairing paint work of late.

You might want to give chips away a ring also.

I know exactly how you feel, I had someone reverse their car into the passenger side of mine over Xmas, dented and scraped the door and rear wing, still, at least they came and told me.   I've never had anything happen to any of my cars before this one, now this is the 3rd time in just over 12 months that my car has been damaged and each time it was parked, mine goes in today to get repaired so hopefully it will be all gleamy gleamy again soon.

Good luck with yours.

same story here..I had my polo for just over a year and had someone smashed into it 3 times whilst parked..I ended up convinced the car was jinxed and sold it!! I couldnt bear to own it anymore as it was killing me! you spend so much on them that people are just jealous!

Ive just spoken to chips away and they say that they might not be able to fix it because its on a long straight panel. they are coming on friday to give me a quote, but untill then does anyone have a rough idea at how much it will be?, because crimbo has really left me short of funds. Its about 35 cm very thin and quite deep but not to the metal i dont think. its on the door just at the bottom of the curve from the window.

Im going to buy a suped up saxo and leave the keys in the door, and wire it to the mains,- i wonder how big the pile of bodies will be in the morning?

I try to do this by parking away from all other vehicles but every time I return to my car I have great big ego busting 4x4's or vans either side of me  s:x :x s:x

Would be interested to hear what chips away reckon ? I have a massive long scratch on the passenger side of the car from some young cherub, so have thought of using them for this.

I reckon getting it oversprayed will cost about two hundred quid, so if chips away are significantly cheaper, and can do a good job, I would probably go with this !

Don't really fancy trying them out and then having to argue the toss if it looks rubbish, and they demand paying !

They can't do it because the scratch is on a long flat bit, so im super gutted. I'll have to save for the body shop. grrrrr

You should try a cocktail stick, paint and rubbing/polishing substance before respraying large sections.
