I'm happy with mine (in the Leon, which has crap stock speakers - haven't got around to replacing them yet), and it sounds good enough to me.

I had an older version in my last '2, and loved it.  It was a pain in the arse to set up so it sounded good, but once there, it sounded excellent. Also, the seperatley controllable pre-out for the subwoofer is a god send. It allows you to change crossover, phase and levels from the head unit. Which cuts hours off the setup time when you have a multiway system.  I think they've updated the sound controls to be a little easier to understand now, so set up should be better for you now.

To save you having to do all the tedious maths, I've worked out the folowing settings for you...

Bass focus should be left at zero with an underdash sub, probabley not more than 0.4 with a sub in the rear...  And when setting the time delays on the Adjustable Time Correction feature, leave everything set at zero except the Front Right channel, which you should set to 1.2mS... This is probably one of the main things I miss on my new Blaupunkt, the difference it makes is hard to believe.
