Hi all
Big probs, Today I have lost the grey master key. The one with the dog tag with the no. on it... this also had the only fob I have attached to it. I have 2 keys that fit the car, neither with a fob in them
WTF do I do now?
The car is currently unlocked on a works car park.

Firstly sorry to sound blunt but when will people get it into their heads the grey key is not the master key. Its a Valet key and cannot programme anything nor open glove box its made for thieving valeters. Right rant over, Get yourself a spare transponder and then you can programme your alarm . Do your black keys work the car at the moment if not your a bit stuffed unless you change the locks and ecu nightmare. If your desperate and you have transport to get up to Manchester I can sort you a lock kit and ecu with 2 keys anytime. Or sort you with a transponder and ecu to enable you to use your present keys.
I hope this doesn't break any forum rules and sorry about the rant.

I have the original 2 keys, both without the key fob thingymabobs in them... that's it. Like a blank . Both keys open the doors, fit the ignition, but the car won't start.

In that case you need one fob and a ecu i can sort you tomorrow if you want to pop up to Manchester

Other way you could do it is use a mrs ecu as  you dont need the chip with them

Swapped ECU's altered my one and only original key to fit the flippy transponder & followed the thread about reprogramming the transponder to the alarm....

I couldn't see Bazza scrap his car for the sake of a chip and a ecu. Talking to Baz hes a nice guy and does a lot for others when hes not driving a truck. Good luck and stay safe on the roads. By the way I always give a wide birth for bikes filtering so no need for the blues with me.
