Central Locking not responding - fob fine

hello all

Couple of weeks back the locking was getting ignorant at times and sure enough it was the battery in the fob. All replaced and fixed.

However, 3 weeks on the car has suddenly stopped locking completely from the fob, both fobs that I have.

Red light flashes away on lock and unlock but nothing happens.

Has any one got any ideas why this is?

Worth checking the main battery condition. Sometimes this can effect the remote function.

I also find that being a little further from the car often helps. I struggle to get Banana to open when I am right next to the drivers door.

Thanks for reply. The locking has worked faultlessly for last 6 months and occasionally it works now but other times not, despite the new fob key.

I'll check main battery but I've never had anything to suggest the main battery is an issue.

Who knows?!
