Hi,

I purchased a Stoga U480 CAN-BUS OBD2 ENGINE SCANNER CODE READER canbus OBD 2 Diagnostic Scan Tool based on the feedback that there were no problems with reading a '53 plate 2. Unfortunately it does not work, constantly comes up with a linking error, yet others seem to have no problem. Of course it could be faulty, but seeking adivce please.

Would appreciate any advice or guidance on a OBD2 scanner that will work with a '53 plate.

Thank you in anticipation...   s:D :D s:D

Any chance it could be an import 2? Or had a replacement Jap ECU? Needs a different reader if so, otherwise check you're using the right ignition routine. (Which I'm sure you probably are, just a suggestion).

With a username of DeviantMR-S then I'm guessing it may well be an import
In which case a JOBD reader will be required

You're more observant than me but then I only came in from rebuilding the Crisis half an hour ago!

Thanks, not an import and not an import ecu.

Sorry for any confusion...posted again because I had a major blonde moment and forgot I had already posted... bad month. Read at the time and went off to investigate.

Again sorry.   s:? :? s:?
