Went to replace the front flexi hoses with braided lines only to find 15 years worth of corrosion and cheese like bolts attaching the hard lines to the flexi. Thought it was strange the car only had rear braided hoses but the previous owner looks to have attempted then given up on the fronts.

Even using a flare wrench and lots of plus gas one of the bolts has rounded pretty badly. Managed to undo it with mole grips but not really sure what the best way to go about replacing it.

It's the NSF and the hard line has no join all the way to the ABS unit so I'm thinking new hard line with a bolt?

Could someone with Goodrich hoses please advise how their front hoses fit?

Ours look a bit weird and loads of kinks + running close to the strut, we checked them before fitting and they didn't seem to be sided.

Make up a new hard line or get your local Motor Factor to make you one.

Easy to fit.  Peace of mind knowing that the pipe is not compromised.

You can get male and female flare nuts so you could get away with just making up a small section and joining them. Although oem hardlines can sometimes be tricky to flare
