P0136 on mum's car, otherwise running fine. Should I just replace the post cat sensor or could the cat be knackered instead? Have access to Torque and an ODB2 reader if there's anything sensible I can do. If it is the sensor, where can I pick one up from tomorrow (near Sheffield). Thanks

Does the code self clear once the sensor is changed?

I replaced mine last year and got one from Eurocarparts - don't think they keep them in branch so it may be difficult to get one tomorrow.  The post cat sensor has a longer wiring loom so make sure you get the right one.  Apart from the position under the car, its a simple swap job.

It's fine won't be back down for a while yet, cheers for the replies.  One potentially daft question - couldn't see where the other end of the connector goes.  Do I need to remove the nearside light?

From memory, the connector is underneath the n/s light. I seem to remember removing it to get to the plug, it's about 30 seconds work.
Ex 2GR-FE roadster. Sold it. Idiot.  Now Jaguar F-Type P450 75 Edition RWD. Officially over by the bins.

The pain in the ass is the clips that hold the sensor to the crash bar.
If you're sure the sensor is knackered, just use force and rip it out. Then thread the new sensor through the conveniently placed holes in the metal. Makes it a lot easier to remove next time
...neutiquam erro.
