Check the steering UJs?

Could be, but shake at a certain speed is usually balance.  Could have lost a weight at the rear?  Can show up as steering wheel shake..

Where the wheel nuts loose?

A number of things can cause wheel wobble. Balance is the obvious thing, and as Carolyn says, rear wheel out of balance can feel like it's coming through the steering. Are the wheels on correctly? Spigot rings may not be centering the wheels correctly. Jack each corner up and turn the wheels. They should run true, any lift (eccentric movement) that is visible will be able to felt through the steering. You are looking for half a mm maximum.

Wheel bearings, balljoints and bushes to check after that. And any play in the strut legs can cause it too. All can be looked at while each corner is raised.

Are you getting any signs of uneven tyre wear? This can be a good indicator of issues.

My wheels were out of balance last year and it took the local tyre fitters two attempts to get them right.  Even now I get an occasional wobble when at 60 on way through to 70, but not all the time  and not on the way back down through the speed range so I have become used to it.  Nothing's dropped off in the past year so here's hoping it will remain so!

wheels can also go out of round while still technically being balanced.
borrow some wheels to rule them out.
if it is wheels, just change them.

Pothole damage can do this. Tyres can go out of round too.

I think I had tyres out of round on my winter tyres last year or two bad balancing events.  I had the wheels balanced twice but the steering wheel was still a bit wobbly at high speed which went when I had the summer tyres fitted.  Last summer I made sure to rotate the winter tyres every few weeks and the same tyres have been fine this winter.
