I have some small rust bubbling up on rear wheel arch of my PFL silver roadster.

Thinking of replacing instead of repairing and doing a bad paint job.

Is it a simple case of bolt off, bolt on or are there welds and stuff that will need drilling out and re welding?

If the former, where is best place for spares?

Thinking Dick Sloan from FB.

Just put a post on the FB group for you... Did the same job to mine.

Had a guy up in beds fit it for me.

In the main it's bolt off bolt on.
There is a little drilling required, rivet, for removal. No welding though.

It's an easy job, particularly the drovers side as that's the aerial not the fuel filler. You need to pull back the roof from the bit where it meets the rear 3/4 panel and drill out 3 spot welds but they come out in seconds and then the panel pops off. I just used a hand riveter to re-cover my new ones on.

The aerial collar taps around to unscrew, leaving the aerial attached to a bracket on the car when the panel lifts off.

I'd budget 2 hours start to finish, including lifting car, removing wheel, etc. Arch liner can stay in place.

Sorry, you said nearside. Still not bad, but pull the filler cap cable release out backwards through the wheel arch. It has a twist -clip fitting which I wasn't confident of not breaking.
