Will someone please explain to me in words of one syllable what a TF is (i.e. TF 300) and how they differ from ordinary 2's.

I keep reading about them on the forum and haven't a clue what it all means.  s:? :? s:?

I might even have one sat on my drive.  s:scared: :scared: s:scared:

The Final....300.
I think they differ in being marked as such. And some nice posh bits.

And chances are, they had the improved oil control rings - in fact, do we know of any that don't? Surely they'd fixed them by this point.
Although not all 56 plates (including some of the very last cars) are TFs. It's almost like they found some more after they ran out of TFs.
