Anyone know the best way to cure condensation in the brake light mounted to the engine cover?

I've had it off twice now and dried it out.  Given it a thorough inspection both times and can't see anything obvious.

I anticipate it will require some sort of separating and re-sealing, but it all looks a bit too brittle to take apart [emoji53].

Unbolt it and see if there is any obvious sealing issue.  It is very easy to remove.

If there is an obvious issue on a side that is usually out of sight, you could apply silicone sealant to the outside without separating.

... otherwise though yes, you would have to consider separating and resealing.

... or go completely the other way :  I took the bulbs out of mine and painted it the same colour as the engine lid!

I also fitted a spolier with an LED 3rd brake light in at same time though.

Thanks Frogger.

I have removed it twice already and could see nothing obvious.  Might pick up some clear silicone and try and neatly seal round the edges without separating the two parts.  I'm fairly sure it will end up knackered if I try and separate it, as the plastics feels like it would be fairly brittle.
