I need new discs and pads and just wondered what everyone recommends, do I stick with the OEM stock or upgrade to drilled & grooved/grooved only?

Links and advice appreciated.

The car is never tracked & used on the road only.

Thanks that's the bit I'm struggling with, what do you run? I like the look of dimpled and grooved but do they have a tendency to wear through pads quickly?

Just get plain flat.
Drilled have a tendancy to crack.
Grooves and dimples CAN make them a bit noisy.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Have had the same pads/discs on for 1.5 years at least. Just ordered another set. Dimpled and grooved again
I do abuse them a fair bit.
No cracks or anything

I went plain stock pagid discs n pads all round. Spot on.
If you are running stock power (and even if your not to a degree) stock will stop you just fine.

Fully agree....Pagid Disks & pads are great for standard use and they last unlike the OEM offerings!!   s:roll:  s:roll:

Yes also have pagid discs and pads which were fitted by Matt performance and recommended by him.
Do a great job and never seem to rust even after standing for a couple of weeks after a wet outing.
Europerformance do them I think.

Related but slightly random.
Had two comments recently how clean and well presented my discs are.
They were fitted in October 2015 for reference.

Make sure they're OEM though. Or Pagid.
Not blueprint or Eicher. They're horrendous.
