Real World Unichip Performance Run

On the way back from Boxhill yesterday i was sat next to LeeUK at some traffic lights on the M25 Slip Road.

Lee has the apexi, H&S, B&M, PPE Racing Cat and PPE Manifold.

I have the unichip and TTE.

Lights went green, was neck and neck until about 15mph and then i just went past him like he wasn't there.

He was tryin because we'd pre-arranged it and spoke to him after to confirm.

The car just kept pulling and pulling away, he wasn't best pleased lol, but his chip arrives soon!

Bigun, when are you next in Hull? Presumably you go on the M18 past J4? That's where I live and I would like to re-inact this 'drag race' to see if my car does indeed have more than what was quoted when the chip was mapped....

Had a good run on Sunday and it feels a lot smoother, I have been running on ultimate the last three tank fulls and returned 35 to the gallon so it will be interesting to see what the return is, post chip

So, bog standard motor with a pre-mapped chip against slightly modded with pre-mapped chip plus a modded with mapped chip.

I'll call tonight/tomorrow night to arrange something for the weekend. So long as it's dry it will be a fair comparison. If my video camera has arrived from HK I'll bring that.

Actually... now that I'm thinking of it, are you on MSN James? Both Les and myself are. It would be a good way of arranging things.

Just to let every1 know we are meeting at 9AM on Saturday at the Humber Bridge Viewing area.

We are taking video camera's and the G-Tech, hopefully we'll get some cool footage for you, both from Les's camera and maybe DP's new camera if it arrives in time.

We'll post some results when we have them.
