I've been talking to someone who's having starting problems with their car.  If used one day to the next it seems ok. It's got a healthy battery, so I'm wondering if it's starter-motor related. Are there known problems with it or cable/earth issues with the '2'. ?

Addition.....I should have said it's after 3 days or so, the engine seems slow to turn over. How many earth cables are relevant to this?

I would not say a known problem.
The same as any other car. Good maintenance is key.
A good clean earth is a good place to start.

What's the problem? You say it's fine day to day... what are the circumstances that cause problems?
Fwiw, I think the sleeping current draw and the battery size mean you can't leave them for a couple of weeks between use. The battery will be flat.
