HELP PLEASE!! Trying to fit new boss and wheel

Trying to swap over steering wheel and need to remove this piece as the large plug section at the top stops the boss from going on.. The3 whole wheel piece unclips from the inside, but seems to be attached to the coil spring thingumy. How to I remove/detach the coil spring, and is it needed for anything when I attach the replacement wheel and boss?

All sortede in the end.

Unclipped and removed the above piece entirely from the car (all related to airbag I believe).

Then unclippedthe 2 connectors (the yellow ones for airbag which I used the airbag delete resistor thingummy and the 4 wired plug which were live and earth for horn and 2 mauve ones (dunno what they do).



fitted new connectors to the 2 horn wires  and then re assembled the steering wheel, boss and horn.

Job done

Im in the process of replacing mine. I wonder if you can tell me how many splines the car had. I want to order a Kit online but want to make sure they send the right one. Coming from china and all
