I have the app but not been able to connect to it yet - I am using one of those clone OBD readers, however when using the torque Pro app benchmarking its basically the same as some of the top adaptors in terms of read rate etc.

I believe the main ECU, though that might explain the lack of further options. Was hoping to find an ABS bleed option/utility as I know it exists in techstream

The ABS has a separate ecu that you need to connect to. It's in the list. Should have more success there

Well, you're hopefully right on both counts.

There is a second ECU option for ABS/TRC/STC and I was able to connect to it.

But (hopefully) the curse of the cheap dongle strikes again. I apparently had 9 stored fault codes on the ABS ecu  tempered somewhat by it seemingly being every fault code going, so I think it's a false reading. Didn't get any sensor readings when I added them to the list (while stationary) and the main ABS light hasn't been showing on the car.

No ABS bleed options on ELMScan so I assume you need proper techstream. Might see if my BMW k+dcan cable works

I've just discovered this thread, sounds really promising! But I guess I'll need a new scanner for this one ..

Do we have any more scanners that fully work with this app (control function) to add on the list, besides obdlink lx?

Should just any JOBD supported scanner work? Anyone got it working with wifi-based scanner?
