The car has basically been unused during the winter. It went for it's MOT & needed 3 calipers, but all 4 have been changed.  It's done about 150 miles since then, and as can be seen in the pic (if I can manage it....) the pad isn't contacting the full area. What would cause this....sticking slider?

Just had a peek at mine.  Yes it's a bit short of target near the hub.  Could be it needs to run in a bit more, or the pad is sticking in the stainless clips and not quite floating in its mounts as it should.
If it doesn't improve in a few more miles, it's worth making sure the pad isn't sticking.
I don't think it's sliders.

Drive more. Do some 'high speed braking checks' from National speed limit down to a casual roll and back.

This is just a low milage thing, my car ends up with the same just from lack of use.  :-\
