What are these for??

[mr2stuff]

Hi All,

Found these in my glovebox, any idea what they are for?
I'm thinking something related to centre console, stereo?

Any help identifying these parts appreciated.

I think they are the mounting brackets for a Sony cd multichanger. If you are running a pfl with a Sony head unit it may have had one in the past

Cheers, I think the previous owner upgraded things in the car, I have a Sony headunit and also a 6 CD changer which is fitted in the rear passenger storage bay.
Are there different stereo versions over the years?

Yep.  Sony units in the pfls and Toyota branded Panasonic in the fls.  The fl units are often called fisher price due to their large buttons.
