Hi,

I've tried to adjust the handbrake tonight. I noticed that one of the nuts is missing, does anyone know the thread size.

I'd prefer not to have to take it all apart and then find I don't have the right size.

Off the top of my head I think its 6mm thread 0.75 mm pitch - 10 mm spanner

+1 although I won't claim to know the thread pitch.

Thanks. I'll start there. If not successful I'm no worse off than a random guess.

Just had a look at one in the workshop.

It's not as fine as .75 mm but a regular 1.5 mm pitch won't go on.

So I'd say 1 mm pitch.  Which makes sense as .75 mm is pretty much unheard of.
