Chrome dials and shifter.

Hi All,

Added some nice chrome bits.
Have seen these on a few members cars and really like the look of them.  Surprisingly easy to fit, came with instructions which were not related to the MR2.  No glue but seem to just squeeze - it came with some double sided sticky which didn't fit and some silicone which I didn't use.  The middle one fell off so maybe I'm missing something, but now back in.  The rings are slightly oval as they looked a circular to me initially.

Also got the chrome gearshift from MR2-Ben, came with no instructions, when initially fitted the numbers didn't line straight, contact MR2-ben who didn't bother even to reply as I thought he sent the wrong one.  But found out from reading that adding some tissue/paper will allow the thread to lock at the right place, now perfectly straight and doesn't wobble.

Now I want the chrome heater rings - this hobby is getting expensive

I've got the FL heater controls on my PFL and, on balance, I prefer them because of the chrome but I actually prefer the look of the PFL hot/cold face plate (I like the coloured dots more than the tick marks).

I really fancy a chrome surround for the gear gaiter. I've seen a few pics here (and in other threads) and I think they look great.  Anyone know where to get one?  My google-fu is letting me down.

Oh no - I've spotted some more nice chrome on the tweeters!

Rutland MR2 will have the chrome tweeter covers...they're standard on all Facelifts...check out the chrome trim on the door pulls too

chromdesign.de?  Looks like they have a few MR2 Roadster bits but no gear gaiter surrounds so you could well be right.  Thanks for the info.
