ADjustable top mounts or not?

Hello folks. I've got a new et of dampers and springs and want to change the top mounts also. I'm unsure whether to get plain old stock mounts or one of the following. Please offer advice and experience on using these or having adjustable top mounts for better setup of geometry etc. I only want good stability for fast road/GT cruising type driving but possibly beneficial to have the adjustability for a proper geometry setup anyway.

Not convinced there's much in it for these at £20 to upgrade to fully adjustables above.

Not much point in getting these at the same price as above.

So really looks like the question is stock or the fully adjustable mounts, and there's not alot difference in the price if getting a decent set of replacement stock mounts.

Its way better to have this adjustability than having to fit camber bolts. You will have more road noise tho so if you dont want to have fast road setup with negative camber go with the non adjustable ones.

P.S. Id ask Paul@TBC for top mounts as he is doing quite nice deals.

Im not sure :) Im talking out of my experience with my Civic. Im yet to start modifying the 2.

Im not sure :) Im talking out of my experience with my Civic. Im yet to start modifying the 2.

Toyota supply crash bolts for the rear that allow a little bit of adjustment but they're not "camber bolts" in the sense of something like Whiteline with the lobed shaft and tanged washers.

It's best not to adjust camber at the top mount (or the bottom control arm) because this increases king pin inclination even more (with negative camber), it's already high at 14.5 degrees.

Having adjustable caster with the top mounts would be good though.

The Toyota crash bolts only work for the front struts.
Silver 2004 MR2 -  Unmodified but very shiny.

Thanks for all the advice folks. I nearly bought the adjustable mounts, glad I asked first. Definitely don't want added nvh in the car. Will look for oe top mounts.
