I've been lucky enough to own my (2nd) roadster for a little over a year or so now.  I got my first one around 2011, but wasn't able to keep it more than around 18 months.

It's my only car and my daily driver.  I really want to do some track days, but didn't want to break my transport, so last week I managed to pick up a another 2.

My daughter has a habit of naming my cars (well only MR2's actually, she hasn't bothered with boring cars).  The first one was green and she named it 'Bob'.

The second was black and she named it 'Quentin' - I have no idea why.

When picking up this one last week she mis-heard something I said and thought I had referred to the car as 'Harrison' - I hadn't but it's stuck, so here he is;

The previous owner had used him for a couple of track days and had fitted some track oriented goodies.

Subframe is solid, but sump has a leak - Peter kindly gifted me a replacement which should be going on in the next few days.

Been driving it the last week and it seems to be behaving itself.

I've started having a little clean up underneath, although it's pretty clean anyway, and chasing rattles (exhaust and cabin).

I like the exhaust note from the Cobra, but find it a little 'boomy' inside the cabin - will start another thread with regard to that.

"Hey Harrision, welcome to the club" said Banana. :)

@smarty72 he is very clean. What's going on the the windscreen surround?

He has a matching blue hardtop, only at some point someone has 'got creative' and decided to paint the uprights of the windscreen surround and the outer parts of the hardtop silver (as if there aren't enough silver ones already [emoji849]).

I suppose it kinda looks ok if that's your sort of thing, but the paint on the windscreen surround has crazed - I want the hardtop for my black car anyway, so will hopefully get that sprayed black at some point.

Might try and rattle can the whole windscreen surround on the blue one, I think that will look better, haven't decided yet.

As for Harrison, more like Hooligan I reckon, the exhaust is taking a little getting used to.

Sabine says hi to harrison.
Not sure I've met you or not. Names, forum names and faces. Not good at either.
So def not not daughter. However, for reasons I cannot explain. I like her thinking.

Do like that blue.
Very much in British summer time, so can guess my thoughts on hardtops.

Hardtop was removed the moment I got it home, safely in the shed until the winter months [emoji6]

Nah, I'm not understanding that, a bit like that weird Peugeot coupé thing with the different coloured buttresses.
Lovely little 2 though.

Yeah...  not a fan.
Like the thinking, it just doesn't translate well on the car for me.
I can understand your path for the windscreen surround and hardtop.

I kind of like it! Like the idea of it (in a floating roof kind of way) - Peugot offered something like this on RCZ
