Making the 2 sit wider

Hi, bar purchasing a wide body bodykit, is there any other way of making the mr2 a bit wider without breaking the bank? I've seen some people with wheel arch flares? What about side skirts that come out a bit? Ideas appreciated!

You can try rolling the arches. This is the most subtle way of widening the car.

How do you account for a big part of rear arch being plastic. You can't roll that

I have rolled my rear arches for clearance rather than looks.

I dont think you would actually notice that they have been rolled though (perhaps I was a bit wimpy and should have used a baseball bat?).

I only managed to roll about 8" or so of the arch up to the bumper before the roller caught on the inner arch.

The inner arch I heated until soft then squashed a bit.
