Battery terminals

Is it possible to remove the standard battery terminals from the wires and replace them with new terminals or are the terminals permanently connected to the wires?

I have just ordered one of these and am hoping I can just bolt the wires onto the new clamp;

Perhaps you could report back how you get on? Some of the YouTube videos suggest you have to cut the terminals off on some cars.
